Go back towards the beginning and there is a silver block on a ledge with a golden object behind it. This lets you break through those large silver colored blocks. Then drop all the way down and there is a huge treasure chest with the Super Hammer in it. This leads into a secret room that holds the Slow Go Badge (slows you down so you can't run). On the set of stone stairs leading toward a hole in the ground, hug the wall and you fall onto a thin ledge. This time the red staircase will be facing the right direction. Start back at the bottom and repeat hitting the green pads to get back to the top. First jump on the green pads to get as high as you can. They are colored to coincide with each other. There is a set of stairs and switch pads in this room. Now let Parakarry take you across that top gap. Once you have the key, go through the door right next to where the key drops. This activates three enemies who you have to beat for another Ruins Key. Through that door you keep going to the end of the room and hit a yellow block. Take this down to the very bottom of the staircase and open the door. Get the Ruins Key in the room you just filled with sand. Star Piece: Emptying the sand in this room reveals a star piece in the back corner. Moustafa gives you the Pulse Stone - the closer you get to the Dry Dry Ruins, the faster it flashes. At the opposite side of the rooftops is the entrance to Moustafa's place. Go through the door, and exit out to the right where you can climb up some boxes to get on top of the roofs. Go back to the easternmost part of town and since the mouser in a robe has moved, the door is now accessible. Moustafa is at the highest point of the Dry Dry Outpost. After talking to the shop owner and buying the items, he informs you Mr. First buy a Dried Shroom, and then a Dusty Hammer. You go to the shop in the town, then by items in an order. Give him a lemon and he'll tell you how to see Moustafa. It is suggested that you spend the full 50 coins on her course, because she comes in quite handy later.Īt the most eastern side of town is a Mouser in a green robe. The spells fluctuate in activity and will eventually wear off. Merlee decides randomly in random fights. She'll cast a spell on you for a small price, and its effects vary from increasing attack power to winning more coins for fights. Jump over them and find Merlee on the other side. On the East Side of town there's an alleyway blocked by some boxes. While you're here knock down a lemon from the lemon tree. Here you can upgrade one of the members of your party so they learn a new attack. At the Oasis you find your first Super Block. You can also locate an Oasis south of the entrance of Dry Dry Outpost. It drops you on a large mesa where the Spin Attack Badge lies (lets Mario destroy a weaker enemy with a spinning move). Then let the twister in the area with blue cacti take you away. Then try twice south from the stone cactus, and then east once. Stand on the rock there and jump, you hit an invisible red block and out comes the Attack FX C Badge. From the stone cactus, move 3 times south and 2 times west from the Stone Cactus. There is a badge hidden in the southwest. If you're not aching to get into town, there are several things you can do in the desert. The tree right under the sign holds one of Parakarry's letters in it, so knock it out by using your hammer. You will eventually arrive at the Dry Dry Outpost, and there will be a sign to denote this. Travel eastward, you get this same advice from everyone you encounter including Kolorado the archeologist and a lonely traveler resting under a tree.
